of 2004. A new year lies ahead of us. What will it hold in store for you?
The theme of this newsletter is unashamedly about Making A Difference to the
World. In these transformational times, we are all invited to play our role
in helping to create positive changes in the world. I hope that each of you
will find an idea in this edition that will provide you with some inspiration
for 2004. If this edition ignites a spark in even just some of you, it will
have been of good service.
I know that most of you reading this newsletter are already committed to
spiritual growth and helping to create a better world for us all. Please read
this newsletter with an open heart and attentive soul, and see if there is
anything that 'calls' to you to help you play an even bigger role in making
a difference to the world this year.

1. Winston Churchill - A Destiny Fulfilled
I saw a documentary last year about Winston Churchill (part of the Great
Britons series). I couldn't help but be struck by the role that 'the hand
of destiny' played in his life. Without the leadership of Churchill during
the war, Britain and the allies would probably have lost the war to Hitler
and the world would be a very different place. We think of Churchill now as
a great man and a great leader, but it was not always so. Yet there was clearly
a path for him to follow.
Churchill had a less than distinguished career in the army. He fought in
the Boer war in Africa, and it was here that a remarkable incident occurred.
It was in the heat of battle that fate intervened. He described it thus
"All about me people were dying. The bullets
were raining in on us. Men were falling to my left and to my right. How I
was not hit is a miracle. Yet I had a sense that someone was watching over
me that day, protecting me and keeping me safe. From that day forth, I knew
that I had been saved for a reason, and that I had a destiny to fulfill."
Churchill was a lone voice from many years as Chamberlain and others talked
of peace and reconciliation with Hitler. It was not until that proved impossible,
and a strong leader was needed to stand up to the Nazis, that Churchill emerged
from the wilderness to fulfill his fateful role in history. Spared earlier
on the battlefield, his destiny was then fulfilled. We owe a big debt to Churchill,
and to the angels.
Whether great or small, I believe that each of us has a destiny to be fulfilled
this lifetime.
2. New Ministry For Peace
It was recently brought to my attention that the UK has created a Ministry
of Peace, dedicated to creating peace throughout the world, and also in our
own society. It aims to work through peaceful means, working both inside and
outside the government. It was created on 14th October 2003 when MP John McDonnell
presented a bill, which was passed unopposed, to create a Ministry for Peace
and a Commission for Peace
The Ministry for Peace was created out of the opposition to the Gulf War,
and a sense that violence is not the answer. On an international basis, the
idea is to work towards lasting peace in the world, tackling the causes of
conflict, and creating peaceful means for conflict resolution. It is argued
that if there were a greater number of peaceful alternatives to war, we would
not rush into armed conflict quite so quickly. And that creating new and lasting
foundations for peace may help to bring it into reality.
On a more local basis, it also recognizes that violence exists throughout
our society, from violent crime to domestic violence against women and children.
It aims to begin new initiatives to tackle these problems, so that we can
create a foundation for peace all the way from the bottom to the top. The
ministry has open meetings at the Houses of Parliament to which public are
invited to attend (next dates on the web-site - see below).
. (Did you know that during the last 1000 years, Britain has spent more years
at war than it has enjoying peace?).
The web-site sets out the aims of the Ministry for Peace in a simple, inspiring
and very clear manner - do go and take a look and find out more. Perhaps you
might like to get involved and support the work in some?

In this new millenium, it seems to me to be entirely appropriate to support
new initiatives for peace. I particularly like the quote on the web-site:
At first people refuse to believe that a strange
new thing can be done.
Then they begin to hope it can be done.
Then they see it can be done.
Then it is done and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago
Let's wish the Ministry for Peace every success in its important work in
creating a more peaceful world for us all.
3. Find Your Life Path - Free gift for all Readers

5. Saving The Planet - Book Recommendation - The Last
Hours of Ancient Sunlight by Thom Hartmann
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM CURRENTLY FACING MANKIND AND THE PLANET?
This is a worthwhile question to ask, and one that deserves answers and urgent
action. What would be your answer to this question? War, poverty, ignorance,
global warming, starvation, disappearing rain forests, environmental destruction?
Unfortunately, we are spoiled for choice for our biggest problem- the list
is long. Do you know the true severity of these problems, (and many other
stark crisis that you probably have not even started to consider yet)? Are
you aware that most of these problems will get WORSE, not better, and almost
certainly reach crisis point within our own lifetimes? Can we afford to remain
in ignorance much longer?
Thom Hartmann's book 'The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight' is, I believe,
potentially one of the most important books ever written. In it, he sets out
in clear terms, the stark future and severity of the global problems that
face mankind and the world. We cannot afford to bury our heads anymore, like
an Ostrich burying its head in the sand, because time is running out for us
all. The book is a 'wake up call' that enlightens us to the problems facing
the world. It also calls on us to spread the word, and offers some simple
ways in which all of us can play our part. It completely transformed my view
of the world, and others have been shocked and astonished by what is written
here. I urge everyone to read it, so that we might all co-operate and do more
to save this precious world of ours, which is tinkering on the edge of disaster.
I do not mean to sound like a doom-sayer, but read the book for yourself,
and you can judge the severity and urgency of the problems for yourself. If
you care about yourself, the planet, and the lives of your children and grandchildren,
read this book.
To take just one example, which also explains the somewhat unusual title
of the book, let us look at fossil fuels. Coal, gas and oil were created by
processes which took thousands of years of ancient sunlight, plant growth,
decay and fossilization to create the coal gas and oil which we use today.
Our entire civilization is based on the use of these fossil fuels - energy
for homes, transport, industry, our entire way of life consumes these limited
and finite resources. These sources of fuel - the foundations of our way of
life in the West - will run out between 2030 - 2050, based on CURRRENT consumption
rates (goodness knows what happens if 2 billion Chinese people and those in
other third world countries consume ever greater amounts of power too).
What will happen when the last coal, gas and oil (the last hours of ancient
sunlight) runs out? What happens then? Will our society collapse? World War
Three over the last drops of oil? (You see why the US are interested in middle
east oil?). What will happen? Has anyone considered this?
Ah, you say, renewable energy will save the day. Really? Germany, currently
the most advanced country in terms of setting targets for use of alternative
fuels, has set a target of having one third of its power needs created from
renewable resources by the year 2030. If the most advanced nation on earth
is only aiming for one third of its power to come from elsewhere by the time
the world's energy reserves run out, what hope is there for us?
If its any comfort, that's the least of our problems - there are far more
urgent issues that need to be tackled before then. Now do you see the need
for this book? Read it and be awakened and inspired. Available from all the

Do you remember the Earth Rio Summit of 1991? It was a gathering of leaders
from all over the world to discuss the urgent need to take steps to save the
environment. Can any of you name one lasting initiative that came out of the
summit? We all need to do more.

6. Angel Story
It is always a pleasure to hear from delegates of our Guided By Angels course,
to hear how they are communicating with their guides and angels, and to receive
their news and stories of how they have been helped and blessed by the angels.
This story dropped through my letter box recently from one of the course students,
who is happy to share the story with you.
"I was in trouble. I knew Christmas would be a tight squeeze. Then,
the tutor on my crystal healing course told us we could obtain an extra diploma
on bach flower remedies by attending a two day course, as we had already covered
most of the material. It cost £65. Then we had a domestic accident that
required more expenditure. Then to top it all, my long-standing back problem
rendered me almost immobile. The chiropractor told me I needed 5 or 6 sessions
with him at £25 each. That was on top of the £70 initial consultation

I and many others have experienced similar examples of the angels intervening
to assist with bills. It does not work every time for everyone, but I have
heard many, many examples of the angels coming to people's assistance in times
of need. The angels are here to help us in many ways.
7. Angel Poem for our Readers
One of my clients and friends, a charming French lady called Roselle, who
is currently living in Scotland, has the gift of writing angel poetry. She
has written literally hundreds of poems over the years. I asked her if she
would be willing to write an angel poem for this newsletter, and she kindly
agreed. Here is her angel poem, written especially for us. I hope you enjoy

8. Messages from your Angels
By now most of you will have experienced 'co-incidences', i.e. a little assistance
from above, white feathers, angel guidance in your life, and/or a near miss
or sense of 'somebody up there is looking after me'. We know there are greater
forces at work in our lives, guiding and protecting us. We have guides, angels,
archangels, God and others (such as the spirit of relatives who have passed
over) watching over us, and lending us their support. Their aim is always
to help us - to help us with our difficulties and questions, and to guide
us along our right path. You have probably sensed this at times in your life.
But what if they were able to SPEAK to us? What messages would they like
to bring us? What answers would they give to the questions that have been
plaguing us for so long? What words of love, wisdom and encouragement would
they speak to us, if we could communicate with our angels?
Well, in case you haven't got the message yet, you CAN. Some people call

we all have the ability to learn how to tune in for ourselves, so that you

10. Individual sessions, Angel Readings and Life Guidance
As ever, I continue to offer a few sessions each month to people who may
want some individual, one to one guidance. Perhaps you are not sure which

or need some clearing work, to help you move forward. You can try a session,
and see what emerges, before deciding upon further steps. We can cover whatever

to complete beforehand, which allows me to prepare and gain some initial guidance
