WISDOM OF THE DALAI LAMA
The
Dalai Lama has been visiting England again recently.
I have been taking some time recently to study Buddhism.
The philosophy of finding inner peace, developing love
for all people, caring for all living things on the
planet, and developing a life of service, are thoughts
that I find easy to relate to, and which would be nice
to see become more widespread in the West.
I
watched again the film 7 years in Tibet last
night, which shows the Dalai Lama as a boy, prior to
the invasion of the Chinese. Everything I have learned
about the Dalai Lama shows him to be not only a very
spiritual person, but one with a great sense of humour.
Claire Wade kindly sent me these thoughts from the Dalai
Lama to share with others (thanks Claire). Apparently
he issued these on my birthday (which happens to be
New Year's Day), so I was especially interested to read
these wise, thought-provoking and humourous pearls of
wisdom. I hope you enjoy them.
1.
Take into account that great love and great achievements
involve great risk.
2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
3. Follow the three Rs: Respect for self, Respect for
others and Responsibility for all your actions.
4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes
a wonderful stroke of luck.
5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
7. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate
steps to correct it.
8. Spend some time alone every day.
9. Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your
values.
10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older
and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second
time.
12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation
for your life.
13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with
the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
14. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.
15. Be gentle with the earth.
16. Once a year, go some place you've never been before.
17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which
your love for each other exceeds your need for each
other.
18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in
order to get it.
19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
ANGEL POEM
I
seem to be receiving quite a few angel poems from people
recently. This one was sent to me by Maria-Clare Lush,
who I met at the Angel Conference in Penzance, Cornwall
last summer. She wrote and told me that after doing
one of my angel exercises, she heard angels singing,
and soon after received this poem from the angels, which
she kindly agreed to share.
Children
of the earth hear our call
We are calling you to our aide
The time has come to stand and fight
and bring this earth back to the light
Darkness
slowly covers the land
We ask you now to come and stand
United in our holy quest
and bring the earth back to the light
With
your help and our guidance
the light will come and remain forever
Walk tall and be happy
Send light and love to all
With
joy in your hearts
and friendship to all
we will be victorious
Just hear our call
The
angels are always keen to help us spread our light.

ANGEL STORY
Jean
Bender told me that she had been feeling tired and lethargic
for a long time, and it was interfering with her healing
work. So she asked the angels to help her get better.
She was walking past a chemist shop and felt a 'nudge'
to go in. The shop was offering a simple diabetes test.
She decided to take it. The test showed she had level
2 diabetes and high blood pressure. Further tests with
the chemist and her doctor confirmed this. She is now
treating this with diet, exercise and tablets. She has
also been guided by the angels to various types of complementary
medicine, which her doctor has agreed.
Jean
says she is grateful for being guided to the problem,
and to the solution. Left untreated, the condition could
have become far more serious.
Sometimes
the angels need to provide us with only the gentlest
of nudges to help answer our prayers.
MY PASSION AND MISSION
My
passion and mission is to help people to do 3 things:
1. DISCOVER (AND DEVELOP) YOUR LIFE PATH
2. LEARN HOW TO RECEIVE HIGHER GUIDANCE TO HELP YOU
DEVELOP YOUR PATH
3. REMOVE BLOCKS AND ISSUES THAT STAND IN YOUR WAY
By
helping people (and organisations and society) to learn
how to be guided along a higher path, people can live
more fulfilling, complete lives, and find the best way
they can contribute to improving our world.
The more of us that find our path, become light-workers,
and serve the highest good of all, the better our society
will become, and the higher it will evolve. This is
my unending passion.

WHO IS RICHARD HAYWOOD?

You
may have noticed some of our newsletters and
emails come from Richard Haywood. Who is this
mystery man?
|
Richard
is the silent inspiration behind much of our work. Richard
and I work in partnership in bringing you this angel
work. Richard is the 'wind beneath my wings' - it was
he who first suggested the idea of the home study course,
and this newsletter too. He created our web-site, using
his internet and marketing consultancy expertise. And
it is he who handles much of the administration of our
courses and work. None of this would have been be possible
without him.
Our
goal is to help build an organisation which helps many
thousands of people, through a variety of courses and
services. Richard prefers to keep a low profile and
handle the business side of things, which frees me to
create courses, offer workshops, work with people, explore
new offerings, and network with other organisations
with whom we can develop links and expand mutual support.
