2. BE OPTI-MYSTIC
My sister-in-law recently gave me a charming book called Angel Wisdom.
It contains '365 Meditations and Insights from the Heavens' - one for each
day of the year.(Publisher Harper Collins).
In this book, the authors, Terry Lynn Taylor and Mary Beth Crain, introduce
us to the idea of being 'Opti-Mystic'
As someone who has always been positive and an eternal optimist anyway, I
was intrigued and interested in this new twist. It has been said that
most of the things we worry about in life never actually happen. So pessimists
are wrong most of the time - being optimistic is more realistic!
Furthermore, if we are working with the angels, and following our highest
path, then we know everything is working out for our highest good anyway.
The authors state that "Optimism is taking a positive, hopeful view of
a situation" and that Mysticism involves communing with the Divine. Put
the two together and you have "Opti-Mysticism" - searching for enlightenment
with an attitude of joyous expectation, and the faith that God and the angels
will take care of all our needs. They add "The angels encourage us to
become opti-mystics - to adopt an attitude of hope, humour, trust, and light-hearted
expectation in transcending the ordinary and in making the extra-ordinary
a natural part of our lives"
So, would you like to become more opti-mystic?
The authors finish the page with the following affirmation: "I look on
the bright side, not in naivite, but in gratitude, expectation and trust."
So be opti-mystic. After all, we can see things more clearly (opti- to see)
when we're working with Spirit. With God and the angels on our side, guiding
us forward along our path, we can enjoy knowing that everything is working
out for the best.
3. ANGELIC HELP WITH YOUR HOLIDAYS
The angels are happy to help us in all aspects of our lives, including our
well earned and much needed holidays and breaks. They can help guide us to
the right one, and help ensure that all unfolds smoothly for us. Call on them
to help you with your holidays, so you can have a good time and return rejuvenated
and refreshed.
I remember one example from many years ago, when I was first starting to work
with the angels, which helped to strengthen my faith and belief in them. I
was planning our first holiday together with my then new partner Angie. We
contacted various travel agents and began browsing. One helpful travel agent,
called Caroline, at a company called Lincoln Travel, came up with exactly
what we were looking for. As soon as we saw it, we 'knew' it was the right
holiday for us. It was perfect. So I rang up to book it. "I'm sorry"
said Caroline "Its fully booked. However, don't worry, there are often
cancellations and late offers, I'll keep trying for you. You never know."
We were bitterly disappointed. Over the coming weeks, I kept checking in with
Caroline. I also tried booking the same holiday through other travel agents,
and directly with the tour company, in case they had separate allocations
they were holding, or waiting lists for cancellations. We also checked the
web-site and teletext for special offers on it. This was the holiday we wanted!
It was the only one which suited us both, for many, many reasons. But alas,
all my efforts were unsuccessful.
During this time, my angels gave me an unexpected message. They said "Don't
worry about the holiday - Caroline at Lincoln Travel will book it for you".
Well, the weeks went by with no progress or news. Finally, with just three
weeks to go before our holiday dates, we reluctantly gave up on it and agreed
we had to think again. With heavy hearts, we went back to the high street
to gather some new brochures and look again. We felt down that weekend, and
couldn't find any holiday that came close to the one we had wanted.
On the Monday morning, I received a phone call out of the blue. "Hi, it's
Caroline here from Lincoln Travel. I just decided to check that holiday you
wanted one more time for you, and guess what? There's been a cancellation.
You can have the exact holiday you wanted, on the dates you wanted, and they
are even offering a free room upgrade. Do you still want it?"
I was dumbstruck. Here, exactly as the angels had predicted, when I had
even given up hope, Caroline at Lincoln Travel was booking the holiday for
us. We accepted of course, and had one of our best holidays ever. It also
opened up other dimensions in our lives that we had never dreamed about. Clearly,
we were destined to go on that holiday. And my faith in the angels was once
again further strengthened.
I often call on the angels for help with all aspects of my with holidays and
trips.

and to bless you with new energies which will help you to have a better holiday
this year.
Holidays are important to recharge and rejunivate ourselves, so we can continue
to contribute our best to others. The angels want to see us happy, and contributing
our best to the world. A good holiday helps us to enjoy life, be refreshed,
and to continue our good work in helping others. If you call upon the angels
to help you too, you may be pleasantly surprised.
4. INSPIRATIONAL PRAYER
The following inspirational prayer, which I came across recently, is a famous
prayer associated with St Francis of Assisi, the founder of Francescan monks.
Apparently, he had a wild youth, was always getting into trouble, and served
as a soldier, before being imprisoned. It was while in jail he had a epiphany,
and decided to devote his life to teaching spirituality. (it's interesting
how inspiration often seems to come to us at our lowest times). He wrote the
following inspiring poem:
Lord make me an instrument of your peace;
Where this is hatred, let me sow love;
When there is injury, pardon;
Where this doubt, faith:
Where this is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much Seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we're pardoned,
And it is in dying (to ourselves) that we're born to eternal life.
Who's life can you bring a little brightness to today?
5. SERENDIPITY
Serendipity means "an unexpected, fortuitous event" You have probably experienced
many of those 'happy accidents' when something good has happened by chance
quite unexpectedly. Our lives are full of them. But have you ever wondered
where the phrase comes from? I recently discovered that Serendipity was the
title of a fairy-tale written by Horace Walpole. The story is based on The
three little princes of Serendip (which is the former name for the lovely
island of Ceylon, now Sri Lanka). The three princes in the story were "always
making discoveries by accident of things they were not in quest of." Hence
serendipity - happy chance finds. As we pursue our higher paths and our own
quest for spiritual enlightenment, we often chance upon serendipities (unexpected
help and benefits from our journey). Keep your 'eyes open' for these in future.
Now you know where the expression comes from.

I have been invited to appear as one of the guest speakers at the Angel Conference
in Penzance this year. As the name suggests, the event is entirely focused
on working with angels. It features numerous angel speakers. I shall be conducting
an introductory talk on the Saturday, 'The ABC of talking with Angels', and
a workshop on the Sunday, both utilising some of the information contained
in my channeled angel course, Guided By Angels. We will also have a stand
there to meet with people, ands to promote our angel courses. For details

Mind Body Spirit Exhibitions - Natural Healing / Prime Impact
The organisers of these excellently well run shows have changed their name
from Natural Healing to Prime Impact (they are now organising other events
too) as they are continuing to expand. This year, they are running an exhibition
in London for the first time, as well as at Colchester, Essex, an annual favourite.
We shall have a stand at both events:

We shall have a stand there, where we will be meeting the public, promoting
our angel courses, running angel meditations on the stand, and selling beautiful
